影片根据真人真事改编，讲述了成绩垫底的高中女生沙耶加如何战胜困难，努力奋进，考上庆应大学的故事。。A young street magician is left to take care of his little sister after his mother's passing and turns to drug dealing in the Los Angeles party scene to keep a roof over their heads. When he gets into trouble with his supplier, his sister is kidnapped and he is forced to rely on both his sleight of hand and brilliant mind to save her。影片通过一个家庭为例，讲述了父母抚养四个孩子长大成人的故事，孩子们到了各自工作的年纪，为了打拼创业，忽略了对父母的关爱，等功成名就荣归故里的时候，才发现“树欲静而风不止，子欲养而亲不待”。于是在自己的家乡，建立了一个养老社区，呼吁更多的年轻人回家乡建设发展，呼吁更多的人常回家看看，为家乡尽忠，为父母尽孝。。
