本片由迪托·钦察泽([呼吸之间])执导，故事讲述2008年南奥塞梯战争期间，在格鲁吉亚的一个名为辛迪斯的小村庄中，17名士兵被杀。。二十年代中叶，国民革命军挥军北伐，各地军阀闻风丧胆，於此动汤不安的时期，天灾人祸也屡见不鲜，尤以长江、淮北的水患令老百姓苦不堪言，苏浙富庶地区募集捐款共得银元五十万，援助安徽被困的灾民，然而运送款项途中...。Nahuel lives with his father in a fishing town, yet he has a deep fear of the sea. One day, he finds a magical book that seems to be the solution to this problem, but a dark sorcerer is after it and captures Nahuel's father. This is where his journey to rescue his father and overcome his fears begins。
