魏莱自幼与父亲魏兴相依为命。由于过度操劳，魏兴患上癌症。为了给父亲治病，魏莱找到离的开母亲林卉，但却受到了外公的阻止。后来魏兴去世，魏莱心有不甘，去到林卉家做起了护工。日渐相处，魏莱明白了母亲对自的爱，逐渐放下仇恨。但没想到自己也患上了癌症。美国女孩Hanna（朱莉娅·加纳 Julia Garner 饰）和Liv（杰西卡·亨维克 Jessica Henwick 饰）到澳大利亚背包旅行，钱花光后Liv开始寻求一场冒险，她说服Hanna到内陆的一个偏远矿业小镇里一家名为“皇家酒店”的附属酒吧打临时工。刚开始一切都好，但慢慢就不对劲了。。A group of young pilots in a remote region of the Canadian wilderness begin to hear strange reports over their radios about planes crashing, cars stalling and a deadly plague which has gripped the planet.
