一对老夫妇在村里过着平静祥和的生活，大儿子住在身边，小儿子在国外工作。两人家里的旧电视坏了，儿子给他们搬来了一台新电视，也给他们的生活带来了变化。儿子们的最终目标是想拆除老人居住的旧房子，盖一栋新房子。而年迈的父母不希望熟悉的事物发生变化，不希望他们的宝贵家园被毁。两代人的斗争将事件推向了最高点。。This would definitely not have been my kind of movie, but my husband saw it on TV and said it was really good. So, on his recommendation, I bought a copy, since I didn't know if it would ever be on TV again. I had never heard of anybody in it except Armand Assante. At first I had a hard time getting into the story, because the first part of the movie is a jumble of images-- and...。
